Please note: Depending on your insurance model, we can generally only treat patients who have been referred by their general practitioner, the telemedicine service of their health insurance, or another specialist.

To ensure a smooth consultation process, it is important that you bring the following documents with you or send them to us in advance by mail or electronically:

  • Complete contact details
  • Current insurance card (basic and supplementary insurance)
  • Current medication list with dosages (important: blood-thinning medication?)
  • Recent imaging studies (not older than 3 months): MRI, CT, or X-ray images on DVD
  • Current medical reports and neurosurgical operative reports from previous surgeries
  • If possible, bring a companion with you (four ears hear more than two)


A consultation usually lasts about 30–45 minutes.
